bullet  General Notes:

Chicago Examiner 9-6-1917 reported a Joseph Bilek of 2520 Sacramento was part of Division 27 of a group of men being drafted and going to a day of training.

I don't know what to make of this person's obit. It mentions his siblings Mary Vlk (no other record of her), Lillian Peck (no other record of her), Frances Jaffke (no other record of her), and the late Anna Mueller (have heard of her). Yet where is his sister Elizabeth Bilek? Not mentioned. Why don't siblings Mary and Lillian appear in any earlier censuses? Why don't his children appear in any census? There is record of his having lived at the address mentioned in the obit at an earlier date.
