Oswego -- Chester M. Jermyn, 115 E. Oneida st., died yesterday in Oswego Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Oswego, son of the late Thomas and Jane Shannon Jermyn and had lived here all his life.
Mr. Jermyn was an accountant for the Maltby-Campbell Co., and former manager of the Oswego Hospital. He had also been employed in the offices of the Peoples Gas and Electric Co., Longs Candy Co., and was a former manager of Oswego Credit Bureau. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and a member of Frontier City Lodge, Lake Ontario Chapter K.T.
Surviving, besides his widow, Mrs. Anita Murdock Jermyn, are two daughters, Mrs. Harry Lagoe and Mrs. Frank Bartholmew, both of Oswego; a sister, Mrs. Florence Maxwell of Ayer, Mass., and a brother, Elmer Jermyn of Oswego.
Funeral services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Scoville funeral home, with the Rev. John R. Scarlett, recor of Christ Episcopal Church, officiating.
