Residence, 1 Jun 1880, 43 W. Prairie Ave., Decatur, Macon, IL. 25 This is in the heart of downtown. Currently, there is a very old two-story building on the property, commercial downstairs, possibly residential upstairs. (Went & looked 3-2-08)

Travel: Visited Moawequa, 12 Oct 1889, Decatur, Macon , IL, USA. 172 "Mrs. C. C. Radcliff and Mrs. W.C. Bullard are at Moawequa visiting friends. They will be absent about a week." Then on 10-15-1889, the paper wrote, "Mrs. C.C. Radcliff and Mrs. W.C. Bullard returned from Moawequa last evening, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Hall and Miss Agnes Fullenweider, who are guests of Mrs. Radcliff today."

Lincoln Ave., Decatur, Macon, IL. 13,14 Living here are Arthur Miller, his wife Fallis, his mother-in-law Edna Radcliffe, Marlyn Starr (his nephew), and nieces Bernice and Grace. Living next door was Wilbur Bullard and his family. By 1920, the Stoddards were living next door.

"Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Radcliffe, widow of Charles C. Radcliffe, died at 1:20 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. Arthur Miller, 905 E. Lincoln avenue. She was 84 years old last April. Her death was due to complications incident to old age. She had been failing for some time.
Mrs. Radcliff was born on a farm near Mechanicsbur, Ill., April 14, 1844. Her parents, John J. and Sallie Fallie (sic) Bullard, were pioneers in that section of Illininois, having come from Kentucky in the early days. She and Charles C. Radcliffe were married Oct. 16, 1867. They moved to Decatur in 1878 and this has been the family home ever since. Mrs. Radcliffe united with the Methodist Church when only 16 years old. For the last fifty years she has affiliated with the First Methodist Church in Decatur. Her husband, Charles C. Radcliffe, was engaged in the grocery business at the northeast corner of Maffit and Cantrell streets for many years. Mr. Radcliffe died Oct. 19, 1900. Two children also preceeded her in death. Mrs. Nora Starr and A. Lynn Radcliffe. She was a sister of the late J.B. Bullard, for many years an undertaker in Decatur. Mrs. Radcliffe was well known to all the old residents of Decatur. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. E. Arthur Miller, with whom she made her home, and by four grandchildren, Marlyn Starr and Mrs. Bernice Starr Handley of Decatur, Mrs. Grace Wendt of Richmond, Virginia, and Fallis Jane Radcliffe of Princeton, Ind., and two great grandchildren. The body was taken to L.A. Monson, funeral director, and prepared for burial. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Monson chapel where friends may call. The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery."
